  • Logo NGSSThe living environment curriculum takes a 3-dimensional approach to develop students’ understanding and appreciation of phenomena in their environment. Using crosscutting concepts and scientific practices, students develop core ideas that will serve as catalysts for learning more elusive phenomena in advance science courses. In addition, the rudiments will empower and prepare students to pose questions and develop models regarding phenomena that scientists and engineers investigate on a daily basis. Having become critical consumers of scientific information, students will be equipped to adopt the role of environmental change agents in the international scientific community.
