- Decide on a domain name (www.yourname.com)
- Visit: HostGator website
- Click: View Web Hosting Plans
- Select Hatchling plan and the billing cycle you desire
- Click Order Now to launch the Order Wizard
- Enter your domain name to see if it is available
- Create and enter your username and security pin
- Enter your credit card information
- Click check box for add site lock to protect your personal information
- Click check box for terms and conditions and select create an account
- Check your email for a welcome package with your username and password for cPanel access
- Log in to cPanel
- Scroll to Software Services and click QuickInstall
- Scroll to eLearning Software and click Moodle
- Follow the direction given by the Wizard
- Record your username and password to access Moodle
Keep track of all usernames and passwords. You should have several sets after all transactions have been completed.
